20th Remembrance Lecture of Late Comr. Moses Oisakede held at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma

Students leaders from all walks of life on Monday 2nd of September, 2019 conveyed at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma for the 20th Remembrance lecture of Late Comr. Moses Oisakede one time SUG president of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and National Association of Nigerian Students NANS and Comr. Livingstone T. Kwanga who lost their lives on their way to Markudi for the emancipation of students who were victimized on September 1st, 1999.

The remembrance lecture who was organized by the Moses Oisakede Leadership Foundation and the National Association of Nigerian Students alongside the Student Union Government of Ambrose Alli University.

Present at the event included, The Vice Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University which came with some of his cabinet, The Current President of National Association of Nigeria Students NANS Comr. Danielson Akpan, Current SUG president elect Comr Osamagbe and his newly elected executives, Past Leaders of various Student Union Government of tertiary institutions across the country and past and current NANS leaders.

While giving his address the NANS president Comr Danielson Akpan said Humanity refers to the collective aspiration of human beings and it is a virtue associated with basic ethics of altruism derived for human condition. He urged all management of tertiary institutions to implement September 1st every year as Moses Oisakede Day and Lecture free day for all students, and shall remain a day for the remembrance off the martyrs of our struggle globally, in the bid to properly immortalize these legends strategic edifice, roads and structures should be named after them.

The Vice Chancellor in his address, said September 1st will be set for Moses Oisakede Day and lecture free day in Ambrose Alli University henceforth. He also said an edifice will be build in the current administration block once the new block is ready and name after Moses Oisakede.

In a speech by the Moses Oisakede Leadership foundation representative, they thank the present authorities of this university for accommodating the 20th anniversary of Moses Oisakede in an enabling environment, he also appreciated the present NANS leadership for their collaboration in facilitating the 20th anniversary of Moses Oisakede.
